Pastor Kristofer Tripp, Board Chairman

Jesus Christ ministered to the whole person. CAN does the same. I’m honored to help CAN build up the community. Kristofer Tripp serves on the Life Elevation Center Advisory Committee and is the Pastor of the Crescent City Church of Christ. |

Why CAN? Because CAN serves my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by following His command to love others. That is put into practice by the many programs provided that help care for the homeless and needy of our area — folks whom I am very concerned for. By being a part of CAN, I can do much more than I ever could as an individual. Community Affiliations:

I have been involved with CAN for close to 12 years. During that time I have watched it not only survive, but also grow with lots of prayers and great people. CAN is a wonderful organization because it helps so many people and it does so by working together with other organizations in our community. The Lord has blessed CAN in so many ways — it is exciting being apart of it. Melody works as a Secretary at Dr. Inouye’s Office and is an active member of the Church of the Nazarene. |
Pastor Dan Schlensker, Board Member

Why I am happy to serve at CAN: I am pleased to be involved in the ministry of CAN, because it is an important vehicle for carrying out the mission given to Christians by our Lord Jesus — to care for one another. CAN offers to many, an opportunity to be used by God to spread His love in tangible ways and to share the Good News of how He showed us His ultimate love by giving His Son for us. Pastor Schlensker is a part of the Coastal Aires Barbershop Chorus and serves as the Senior Pastor of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. |

The decision to serve on the Board of CAN began by concurring with CAN’s Statement of Faith and General Purpose to engage in and carry on a general program of Christian-based life improvement for our community. It is my desire, as a member of the body of Christ, to contribute my time and resources to serve one another and that we are to remember the poor. I’m reminded of the words that say, ‘A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand and it gives light to all who are in the house.’ Stuart works as a real estate agent and is an active member of Calvary Chapel of the Redwoods. |
