Food Bank

CAN began as a small food bank serving 165 families the first month. We now distribute some 250 tons of food per year to over 4,500 individuals. Food boxes are distributed Tuesday through Friday at our Standard Veneer facility. We also distribute in Klamath and the Del Norte Senior Center.

Clothing Bank

Currently CAN distributes clothing in bins located outside of our main location on Standard Veneer Road, Tuesday-Friday. We hope to have our clothing closet housed in a storefront location in the near future. If you are interested in housing CAN’s clothing closet, please contact us today!

Senior & Children’s Supplemental Food Program

Children ages 5 and under who do not receive services through WIC and income eligible seniors can receive supplemental food boxes. Please contact us for more details.

Nutrition Education

Because CAN understands the value of education—especially as it relates to nutrition—we offer a variety of opportunities for people in the community to learn how to enhance their health by making tasty, nutritious dishes.

Community Gardens

CAN has several garden sights around the community where local residents can sign-up to plant vegetables in their very own planter box. The gardens encompass much more than growing food—it is about community and people coming together. Please give us a call to learn more about this great opportunity.

Wild River Smiles!

In partnership with multiple organizations, this program provides oral health education and oral hygiene supplies to children and families throughout the Wild Rivers region. Please contact us for more details.

Bible Study & Prayer Group

CAN staff join together for a prayer group on Tuesday’s and Bible study on Friday’s. God chooses to join us with His presence, peace, power, and principles. Both Bible study and prayer group are open to all who wish to join us. Please call ahead for specific times and location.
